Returning Books - Rentals
When you rent items through the Service, you are required to return these items to BookMob at the end of your rental period. The due date for each item will be given to you when your order is placed. You will be held solely responsible for any late return shipments that are not postmarked by the return date. All late returns will be subject to the appropriate extension or replacement fees.
In the event that book is returned past its due date, you will be charged a 15 Day Extension Fee. If an extension fee is charged, and the book has not been either postmarked or returned by the end of the extension term, you will be charged a "Book Not Returned" fee. This fee is equivalent to the book's list price minus your rental costs and the cost of the extension(s).
A prepaid shipping label will be supplied to you, and available within the "My Account" section of the Website. All returns MUST use the supplied label when returning items in order to ensure proper delivery of the items. Books must be appropriately packaged to avoid any damage during shipment. You will be responsible for paying for any visible damage resulting from absence of adequate packing materials.
All supplements that were included with the book, including CDs, access codes, inserts, workbooks, study guides, etc. must be returned along with the book. You will be responsible for any costs associated with purchasing these items in the event of loss.
BookMob rentals and sales are subject to Canadian GST, currently a rate of 5%. Users will be responsible for paying this tax on all transactions through this Service.
BookMob will make every effort to ship your textbook within 1-2 business days of receiving the order, however we do not guarantee shipping times. We use UPS as our shipping courier, and all packages will be shipped via UPS Ground delivery. BookMob will only transact and ship to Users that reside within Canada and does not currently ship to the U.S. or International locations. Users must return their books from within Canada, and will be responsible for any additional shipping charges incurred in the event that the book is returned from another country.
